“The Islamic World Istanbul Awards”, will be given this year for the first time, in order to promote and honour the successful people and institutions which are strenghtening the depth and integration of Islamic World’s vision.
Prizes will be awarded each year from this year in the branches of state, diplomacy, business, science, culture, art, technology, strategy and public diplomacy; these prizes will be awarded by Think Tanks Platform of the Islamic Countries (ISTTP) members, which, after their meetings of Istanbul, Baku, Cairo and Baghdad, will this time organise the 6th large scale meeting in Islamabad, capital city of Pakistan.
The Award Presentation Ceremony, which will be held in the Islamabad Serena Hotel, will be hosted by the Pakistan Senate Defence Committee on the 7 March in 2015, on Friday evening, with the participation of the Pakistan's President his Excellency Mr. Hussain Mamnoo. The ISTTP, is a global organization which, under the leadership of TASAM (Turkish Asian Center for Strategic Studies) brings together, within the framework of multi-dimensional issues, the representatives of state members of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), the thought and opinion leaders from all over the World and think tanks, and it is formed to provide strategic contributions, common agenda and socio-economic deep integration. ISTTP that was established which has published “ Istanbul Declaration” the end of Think Tanks Forum of Islamic Countries in January 2010, has decided to give the Islamic World Istanbul Awards in order to promote and honour the successful people and institutions which are strenghtening the depth and integration of Islamic World’s vision, in the branches of state, diplomacy, business, science, culture, art, technology, strategy and public diplomacy to Think Tanks Forum of Islamic Countries that gathered in Istanbul, Baku,Cairo and Baghdad and Wise People Meeting regularly every year since 2015.
