Chinese investors' interest to strengthen country's economy

ISLAMABAD: Representatives of business community on Thursday widely hailed the pledge of Chinese investors to invest in different sectors in Pakistan.


They said the interest shown by these investors during Prime Minister's visit to China would help boosting the national economy and accelerate the pace of country's progress and development.


They said the successful visit of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif to China will usher an era of progress, development and prosperity in the country.


Ashraf Hayat, a trader at Blue Area said "It is a good sign that when country economy needs extra ordinary support, chinese investors are coming to Pakistan to boost it."


He said with this pledge, the country's economy will move on right direction. All credit goes to present leadership of the country who has vision to improve the economic situation of the country, he added.


Another businessman Salman Iftikhar, who is running his software house said China has become a role model for entire world regarding strong economy.


He Said Pakistan can get help from China in improving its economy and expressed the hope that country will soon become a economic power in the world under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.


He suggested that country's economy can further be boosted if modern Chinese technology is transferred to Pakistan and country's businessmen are trained to use this technology.


Other businessmen said that signing a number of agreements between Pakistan and China during the PM's visit will further improve economic ties between the private sector of two countries.
