Pak, China cooperation for ending energy crises is integral

ISLAMABAD: Former Ambassador Khalid Mehmood has said that China can help Pakistan in energy sector as China has made great progress in various fields of energy generation.


Talking to Radio Pakistan, former Ambassador said that Pakistan and China have exemplary and time tested relations in strategic, defense and political fields.


Khalid said that these ties are so strong that changes in the international system and within the two countries have not affected them rather mutual trust and confidence is getting stronger with the passage of time.


He said that economic relations between the two countries have numerous examples and hoped that Chinese cooperation will bring economic explosion in Pakistan adding he said that China played great role in the development of Gwadar Port which will link us with Central Asia and China.


Similarly, China is working on several energy projects in Pakistan such as Neelam Project, Pak-China trade is increasing continuously, as Pakistani markets were flooded with Chinese goods, he said.
