PCI Hosts a Delegation from the Confucius Institute

On Friday, 12th April, the Pakistan-China Institute (PCI) met with members of the Confucius Institute, Islamabad, at PCI offices. The meeting, chaired by Senator Mushahid Hussain, was attended by the Director of the Confucius Institute, Dr. Zhang Daojian, who was accompanied by the Confucius Institute faculty members Zhang Tiejun, Zhang Haiwei and Shen Xinmin. PCI made a brief presentation on its current projects, and the two institutes discussed collaboration on joint research projects, and a series of academic events. A framework for both sides to implement the proposed projects is under construction, and a formal agreement will be signed in the near future.
