Sartaj Aziz lauds role of Islamabad Trilateral Dialogue on China-Afghanistan-Pakistan

Islamabad, Oct 21: Adviser to Pakistan Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on Foreign Affairs & National Security, Sartaj Aziz lauded the Trilateral Dialogue on China-Afghanistan-Pakistan, the first-ever initiative of by Pakistan-China Institute.

Sartaj Aziz also presented special thanks to Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed, Chairman Pakistan-China Institute for taking the initiative for such meaningful dialogue process aimed enhancing, trust and cooperation between China,Afghanistan and China. He also admired role of Ronny Heine, Resident Representative of the German political foundation Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) for supporting this international conference.

The Adviser said: “The dialogue program is quite comprehensive covering a wide range of issue adding that “Pakistan-China Institute has very fast evolved into a vibrant institute.”

Trilateral Dialogue on China-Afghanistan-Pakistan, held on October 19-20,2014,brought together strategists, academicians, diplomats and foreign relations experts to discuss the current security and political situation in Afghanistan, its implications for neighboring countries, and the way forward.

China-Afghanistan-Pakistan trilateral dialogue concluded with consensus agreement to adopt a collective approach toward countering challenges of security and stability in three neighbouring countries; China Afghanistan and Pakistan. The suggestion focused on boosting mutual cooperation; enhancing cultural, academic and people to people contacts to bring better understanding and improve trust level between three countries as China Afghanistan and Pakistan share borders, culture and can share the bright future destiny too.
