Delegation of PCI Essay Competition winners arrives in China for a 6 day tour

A delegation of the Pakistan-China Institute (PCI), comprising of winners of the Essay Competition: "To China, With Love," has arrived in China for a 6 day tour. The tour will comprise of visits to the cities of Beijing and Shanghai, with emphasis on tourist attractions and universities. The Essay Competition was organized by PCI, with the help of the Chinese Embassy.

Beijing: A delegation of the Pakistan-China Institute (PCI) has arrived in China, which comprises of winners of the Essay Competition: “To China with Love,” as part of their 6 day tour to the country.

The essay competition was organized by PCI, with the help of the Chinese Embassy, to celebrate the spirit of the Pakistan-China friendship. The essays consisted of personal experiences, outlook and knowledge on China, with suggestions on how to further deepen people-to–people connections between the two countries. The essay competition received more than 1800 entries from across Pakistan, and 22 winners of the competition have now been taken to China, where they will be visiting the cities of Beijing and Shanghai, visiting tourist sites and universities. The cultural ties between the two countries have been strengthening, ever since the launch of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
