Beijing: International Think-Tank symposium on the “19th CPC National Congress: Implications for China and the World” kicked off on 16th November 2017 in Beijing. The symposium discussed the major achievements and implications of the 19th CPC congress for the world and the new opportunities emerging with economic development. Furthermore, it also shed light on China’s foreign policy.

Executive Director of Pakistan-China Institute, Mustafa Hyder Sayed, participated in the symposium as a guest speaker in the session “China in the course of development and reform and new opportunities of global economic development”. Speaking on the occasion Mustafa Hyder said that the most important thing in President Xi Jinping’s speech at the 19th Party Congress is the determination to bridge the gap between the privileged individuals of society and the underprivileged. He stated that President Xi has made it clear that discipline, determination, and vision have to go hand in hand if china is to lead the region and emerge as a stronger power. The best is yet to come, he further added.

The symposium was organized by Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) and China Center for International Economic Exchanges. The event was attended by well-renowned personalties of China like Jiang Jianguo, Director of the State Council Information Office of the People's Republic of China; Zeng Peiyan, Chairman of China Center for International Economic Exchanges; Huang Kunming, member of the Central Politburo of the Communist Party of China; Wei Jianguo, Vice Chairman of China Center for International Economic Exchanges, and many more.
